817, what a number. 817 is the number patient I am that Dr.Hsu has helped. A testimony to him as a surgeon. One of the only surgeons in the area to take the chance to help complex patients like myself. To him thats a huge accomplishment. To me it is too.
The number 817 “carries the vibrations of abundance, new beginnings, and inner strength”, “It’s a reminder that you are supported by the Universe and that whatever challenges you’re currently facing, you have the power to overcome them.” , “The number also signifies fresh starts and new beginnings.”.
Needless to say 817 will forever hold a lot of meaning to me. MALs surgery is often referred to as Life 2.0 and getting 817 really just further showed I am on the path to Lauren 2.0.
Lauren 1.0 had so many challenges to face. I look back on my past, pictures of young me, journal entries from times when I was constantly being dismissed by doctors, and just want to give her a hug and tell her it will work itself out. To keep going. Lauren 1.0 fought hard for her life she got me here.
Lauren 2.0 has big plans but for now we are taking it day by day step by step. Healing, especially from a major surgery, will not be smooth but I have the strength to get me through.
My post op appointment went great. Dr.Hsu is very pleased with my progress. I will be getting an additional medication due to my persistent MCAS reaction from the surgical glue, but honestly thats a minor issue to me. Most importantly I am home♥️
Thank you Dr. Hsu for your bravery in the medical field. For working hard to be where you are. For believing patients and not stopping until you find an answer. Thank you for giving me a chance to live my life.
